We’ve done our fair share of traveling, and of all the places in the world, I always choose to go back to Kilkenny.  There’s something about it that pulls me back. I don’t know if it’s the medieval nature of the city or the cobblestone streets and a castle,  but it is MY quintessential Ireland.

When I first arrived in Kilkenny in 2012, I’m pretty sure I was the fool grinning from ear to ear. I was finally in the story-book European village of my dreams.  I’d never seen a castle other than Cinderella’s,  much less walked along cobblestone streets lined with cafes and neat little shops.

I love everything about this town.

So to get a second day there while on this trip made me super happy 🙂
