Pizza is one of the tastiest things you can ever eat. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered someone that says they don’t like pizza. I mean, how could you not? 

It’s the perfect blend of everything all in one mouthful. You have the gooey cheese, tasty tomato sauce, and an amazing pizza base. There are so many different styles of pizza that you can find all over the world. From a traditional stonebaked Italian pizza to deep dish Chicago pizza, and even handcrafted New York style pizza. Each one has its own unique spin on the idea of what pizza is and should be. 

Normally, you order pizza from a restaurant. It’s not something that’s easy to make at home, particularly because you have to go through the effort of making dough. But, here are three cheat ways to make pizza without the hassle – and without the need for a pizza oven!

Pre-made pizza crust

Most grocery stores will sell pre-made pizza crusts for you to make your own pizza. The dough has already been rolled out and formed, all you have to do is create the toppings. Here, you have the complete freedom to make a pizza however you like. The trick is to get a good dough, so avoid the cheap stuff. Look for a pizza crust that gets good reviews online – you might have to try out a few before you find the one you love the best. 

Another good tip is to dry fry the dough in a really hot pan before you transfer it to the oven. This replicates the effect of cooking it on a hot pizza stone. If you wanted, you could get yourself a little pizza oven to use at home, but it’s understandable if you don’t want to spend much money!

Flatbread pizza

This is a really good method for when you just want a quick and easy pizza. Get yourself a nice circular flatbread, smother it with toppings, then bake in the oven. It’s genuinely as easy as that. Again, layer your pizza with as many toppings as you like. Will it taste like a traditional pizza? No, but it still tastes absolutely delicious!

Finally, we have a similar method that uses a different base. With this one, you want a thin tortilla wrap – the type you’d use to make fajitas or burritos. This gives you a super thin and crispy base, and the benefit is that it reduces the calories in your pizza dramatically.
