I never follow recipes that I see in magazines. Odd…right!?! Well, I copied this one, made one little change, and it’s a keeper! Baked Beer Cheese with pretzel bites.
8oz cream cheese
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar
2 c. shredded havarti
1/2 c. light colored beer (I used an IPA)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 c. cooked chopped bacon
chives to garnish
Stir everything except the bacon and chives together. Spread into a cast iron skillet, line with pretzel bites, and bake at 400 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Top with bacon and chives.
